My Disney Blog

One o'clock and all's well!

Today was by far one of our most exhausting days in Walt Disney World. We spent a total of 12 hours in Disney Magic Kingdom theme park. But, first we headed over to the Polynesian Resort for breakfast at 'Ohana. This has become a Disney must do each and every trip. Here breakfast is served "Family Style" which means that the buffet comes to you. Here you can choose from Hua Paka, Uala Kahiki Island-Style Potatoes, Pua's Pork Breakfast Sausage links and Bacon, Mickey Shaped Waffles, and assorted breads and fruits.

We can fly, we can fly, we can fly!

Today was an action packed day!! We got up this morning for our flight to Orlando. The plane ride was for the most part uneventful, we hit some very minor turbulence but nothing major. We left Hagerstown at about 11:00AM and arrived in Orlando at around 2:30PM. After exiting the plane we headed over to the Alamo to rent a car for the weekend, which we choose a Nissan Versa. Overall, good car, drove smooth and great on gas. The only draw back we found was the layout of the car on the inside.

Live like there's no midnight...

This year with the opening of Fantasy Land Disney has been offering "Limited Time Magic" where every so often a special event occurs. One of the most recent events started on January 21st and ended on January 27th titled "Long Lost Friends Week".

Faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust

This morning we checked out of our hotel and stopped at the merchandise store to load up on scrapbooking supplies.  After finishing up a few things at the resort we headed over to Down Town Disney for lunch before hitting the road.  We choose to eat at Fulton's Crab House which was extremely delicious and very friendly.  Once we finished our lunch we took a last walk through of Down Town Disney and took some last minute pictures.  Then we started our journey back home stopping at Florence, South Carolina at a Country Inn and Suites.  After a much needed sleep and relaxation we headed back h

When it's over..Is it really over?

Today was another great day!  This morning we got up early and we headed over to Animal Kingdom for extra magic hours.  After entering Animal Kingdom we headed straight for Expedition Everest first.  The wait was only about 5 minutes maybe even less than that, after successfully surviving the yeti we headed to Dinosaur!  Again the wait time for Dinosaur was for short maybe 5-10 minutes if that.  After riding those two rides we decided to head on over to Epcot and end our last day with the Food and Wine Festival.
