Lights...Camera...Action

Due to the large post we will break up this day into two sections, this is part one...

Today was another exhausting and magical day starting with Hollywood Studios.  We arrived at the park right at opening and made our way directly to Toy Story Mania!  This attraction is one of our favorites so we decided to get fast passes for later and to go ahead and ride then as well.  The wait time was only about 25 minutes while we waited we decided to look up the wait times through My Disney Experience App.  For all of the attractions the longest wait other than Toy Story Mania was only a 10 minute wait and that was Tower of Terror.  A tip we're going to try next time is to get fast passes for Toy Story Mania and try to hit up all the other attractions to see how much we can get through.  After getting beaten by Travis in Toy Story Mania we headed around the streets of Hollywood for picture taking.  One of our favorites spot for pictures is the umbrella from Singing In The Rain. 

Next while walking about the Streets of America we saw Lightning McQueen and Mater with no line.  After visiting our pals from Radiator Springs around the corner we found Phineas and Ferb!  I would love to find Perry the Platypus out in the parks one of these days.  Our next stop is Tatooine for Star Tours -The Adventure Continues 3D show.  This is yet another Disney favorite and a must do.  The absolute best part of Star Tours is there is over 50 different combinations to the storyline.   After racing in the pod race with our friends C-3PO and R2-D2 we headed over to The Magic Of Disney Animation.  Here we stood in line to meet Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope Von Schweetz where we were given pre signed autograph cards.  Next, Travis headed over to Tower of Terror to get fast passes for us before we made our way back to Toy Story Mania.  When exiting Toy Story Mania we noticed the Green Army Men were out so Travis stopped for a picture. 

Our next stop the brand new Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow!!!  I was so very excited for this attraction I'm a huge fan of Jack Sparrow and Johnny Depp.  This attraction was just a walk through that makes you an honorary pirate to help Captain Jack.  Overall, it wasn't a bad attraction something we would only do once really.  After helping Captain Jack avoid Davy Jones it was time to use our fast passes for Tower Of Terror.  As I'm sure all of you know this is another must do each and every trip.  The wait time was great even for fast passes it was only about 10 minutes if that.  Next it was finally lunch time at the Sci-Fi Diner which we had reservations at 1:00PM for.  One of our favorite places for lunch with such great food.  We love getting their burgers and milkshakes especially there new flavor Solar Flare (Orange Creamsicle) milkshake.  

After our amazing lunch we headed over to the Great Movie Ride for our last attraction.  We almost didn't do it this trip but we are sure glad we did.  For those of you who may not have experienced this ride, it's a journey through the great movies or our time.  The car that takes you through these movies has a tour guide and it use to be that during the gangster scene the tour guide would jump out of the car and a gangster would take his place.  Well now the tour guide jumps out of the western scene, I won't go into any detail to ruin the experience but it's explosive.    Once we finished up our cinematic journey we went through a few shops and got a last picture in front of Tower Of Terror.
